Janaury 23, 2001:The first homework assignment is available. This will be due back on February 1, 2001. Scroll down to the section on homework below.

Janaury 17, 2001: I apologize for yesterday's class and the fact that there were not enough seats. I have been assured more seats will be added to the classroom. So looks like we will stay in the same classroom CIC 210. For Thursday's (January 18, 2001) class please come to the same classroom CIC 210.

January 17, 2001: I will announce this in class as well. We will NOT have class on Thursday, Janaury 25, 2001. I will be out of town to give a talk. Please make a note of this fact.

I strongly encourage you to take a look at Paul Krugman's Column in the New York Times, if you want a balanced view about various economic issues and policies. Krugman is now a faculty member in Economics at Princeton University, having taught at both Harvard and MIT in the past.
