Mr. Isai Macias graduated with a BA in Spanish literature from the University of California at Irvine and received his Masters degree in Bilingual Education and ESL from Heritage College. He has also had teacher training at the Universidad de Castilla – La Mancha in Toledo, Spain .

Currently, Mr. Macias is a Doctoral candidate with Washington State University. He has taught for many years, both English (ESL) and Spanish as a Second Language, within the public school system, at the college level, and adult education classes within our community. He is also a certified translator with the state of Washington .

Mr. Macias was born in Mexico and has traveled through many Spanish speaking countries including Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Mexico, and Spain . He is aware of the differences in pronunciation of the various regions of the Spanish speaking world and will emphasize the dialect of our area in his teachings.
