The purpose of the WSU Tri-cities Sustainability Club is to educate and act in ways that build upon the Sustainability of the environment, ecosystem, and humanity in general. This will be accomplished through volunteer activities and knowledgeable-based functions that strengthen Sustainability. The WSU Tri-cities Sustainability Club will capitalize on advancing and managing recycling at WSU Tri-cities, creating a web-based network of information for appropriate transportation choices (such as, walking, bicycling, public transportation, carpooling, and human-powered transportation, i.e. skate-boarding, long-boarding, rollerblading, scootering, etc.) for students, faculty, and administration at WSU tri-cities, and ways to conserve energy and resources in the Tri-cities community, in the attempt to be as economically efficient as environmentally Sustainable.
