Advanced Placement Credit

If you have scored 3 or higher (4 or higher for English) on College Board Advanced Placement (AP) examinations, you may be granted credit at Washington State University. The Educational Testing Service offers these exams in a variety of subject areas at locations around the country.

Running Start

The University supports Washington's Running Start program, in which you can take courses for both high school and college credit. In order to apply Running Start credits toward a degree at Washington State University Vancouver, have an official transcript of your college-level work sent to the Office of Admissions. Follow the steps for applying as an incoming freshman.
