What is the deadline to apply for admission?
The priority admission application deadline for students wishing to start classes in the fall is January 31. Those starting in the spring must apply by November 15. Apply.

How and when do I apply for scholarships? You must submit your admission and scholarship applications by January 31 in order to qualify for scholarships offered through Washington State University . Please click here to fill out the scholarship application.

What is the FAFSA priority deadline and WSU Tri-Cities school code?
The WSU FAFSA priority deadline is February 15. WSU's school code is 003800.

How do I know which classes transfer from other colleges and universities?
You should speak with an academic advisor to be sure your classes transfer. You also can visit the transfer equivalency menu at https://webapps.wsu.edu/ais/myinfoservices/darstce/index.aspx or here http://futurestudents.wsu.edu/admission/transferable-degrees.aspx

What are the prerequisites for freshman admission?
There are several high school CADR(college Admission Standard and College Academic Distribution Requirements) requirements for entering freshmen. They are as follows:

•  English—Four years, including at least three years of composition and literature

•  Mathematics—One year of algebra 1, geometry, and advanced algebra; a fourth year is strongly recommended

•  Sciences—Two years, including one year of lab science (biology, chemistry, or physics)

•  Foreign Language—Two years of a single foreign language, Native American language, or American Sign Language

•  Social Sciences—Three years •  Arts—One year in fine, visual, or performing arts or an additional year of the courses listed above

•  Completing the SAT/ACT

What are freshman applicants required to submit with their application?
As well as a completed application form with a personal statement attached, freshmen applicants must have sealed transcripts from all high schools, colleges and universities they have attended sent to WSU Tri-Cities. Applicants must also request that their SAT or ACT scores be sent to WSU Tri-Cities.

How do I send my ACT or SAT test scores to WSU?
When taking the ACT or SAT, you are asked to provide the codes for the schools you wish your scores to be sent to. The code for WSU on the SAT is 4705; the code for the ACT is 4482. Click here for more information.

How are applicants selected?
The Admissions Office at Washington State University Tri-Cities takes a holistic approach when evaluating your application for admission. Admission to Washington State University Tri-Cities is competitive and based on a review of your course curriculum and overall academic performance—including standardized test scores, your personal statement, and other factors if you are applying as a freshman.

What are the estimated costs to attend WSU Tri-Cities?
