Answer each of the questions below. Altogether, your exam should be approximately 4‑6 pp. in length (typed, double-spaced, plus cover sheet). Exams are due at the beginning of class, Monday, Oct. 30. Attendance during that class session is mandatory; come prepared to discuss your answers.

3. (40 pts.) How could the social construction of technology (SCOT) approach be used to explore the technology you are examining in your semester-long ethnography of technology? Explain, give examples. What might be the strengths and limitations of such an approach?
