Read thoroughly one of the following supplemental course texts:
Write a critical review essay on that text, including each of the following components: (i) briefly summarize the author's research question, methods, evidence, and argument; (ii) using guidelines and materials studied in Schutt (2006), critique the research methods used; (iii) discuss what you learned from the author's research and text; and (iv) conclude with an overall assessment of the text, including both substance and methods.
Your essay should be approximately 3-5 pp. in length (typed, double spaced, 12 pt. type, plus cover sheet and references). Be sure to properly quote, cite, and reference all material used in your paper.
