Blue Emergency Poles

WSU Tri-Cities has blue emergency poles in three locations on campus: In the main parking lot at Row 7 (along the center sidewalk, near the Bioproducts, Sciences and Engineering Laboratory) In the Consolidated Information Center parking lot On campus between the West Building and the CIC, along the sidewalk near the soccer field.

How it works:

• In case of an emergency, press the large red button
• You are immediately in voice contact with a 24/7 emergency dispatch center
• The dispatcher will ask you questions to determine the emergency
• Your call then is forwarded to the appropriate emergency responder (police, fire, etc.), while the dispatcher stays on the line
  
  If there is an emergency inside a campus building, call 2-7234 to reach the dispatcher at any time — or call 911 directly. Be specific about which building and room you are in so the emergency vehicles go to the correct location. If someone is available to help you, send them out to the building entrance to guide the emergency responders to your location.
• The West and East buildings are at 2710 Crimson Way
• The Bioproducts, Sciences, and Engineering Laboratory (BSEL) address is 2720 Crimson Way
• The Consolidated Information Center (CIC) address is 2770 Crimson Way
