Faculty and staff are very helpful and are always looking for ways to connect students with leadership opportunities.

Network as much as you can. With a network of support your transition into a university will be a lot easier. Find a mentor that can help guide you in your field of interest. Donít be afraid to ask for help! Take advantage of the different support programs the campus has to offer.

What I recommend to do while visiting the Tri-Cities:
I recommend you take out a boat or a couple of Jet Skis into the Columbia River. Go out with your friends and go fishing and swimming. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the river! Visit the Toyota Center. Watch a hockey game or get on the ice and go ice skating during the winter.
