New Student Orientation for Transfer Students
All new Transfer students must attend a New Student Orientation but you can register for courses before attending orientation. Before scheduling an appointment with your advisor, you must follow the steps on the advising website to prepare for your meeting to plan your course schedule.
New Student Orientation will be an information-packed orientation for Transfer students. Parents or guests are invited to this informational session with their students during this event addressing the following topics:
- Academic Success
- Student Support Services
- Student Leadership
- Financial Aid
- Parent Involvement
- The advantage of going through the pre-advising/orientation steps, is higher priority for meeting with your advisor and registering for classes at orientation.’
