Maria Luisa RodriguezMy name is Maria Luisa Rodriguez I am the Program Assistant for MESA. I received my AA in Business Administration and I am currently a student at WSUTC and pursing my BA in Business Management. During the time that I have been working with MESA and Acceso a la Ciencia, I have worked with the students, parents, and the community. It has been a great experience seeing students and parents work with Math and Science activities. Parents seem to be just as eager to learn about Math and Science and be able to teach their children what they know and that is such an inspiration to me. I came from a family who worked in agriculture and know what it is like to work in the fields and still have to go to school and study hard for my future. My parents were limited to their education and the English language, yet knew that going to school, studying, and going to college would take my siblings and I further into a successful future rather than what the fields had to offer; for that I am very grateful. I now share these important tips with my children, students, and parents with whom MESA and Acceso a la Ciencia works with, in order for them to become successful in life as well.
