Southeastern Washington Business Information Center
The Southeastern Washington Business Information Center (SWEBIC) in Richland WA provides assistance to start-up and existing business owners by providing information resources. The entrepreneurial collection was developed especially for our regional businesses. The resources address a broad variety of business start-up and development issues. It provides the necessary "tools" to help you develop a comprehensive business plan, evaluate and improve your marketing and sales techniques, diversify into new product and/or service areas, price your products, or explore procurement opportunities. Access the latest technology, providing you with the opportunity to conduct extensive marketing research utilizing computerized information from the Bureau of the Census and information from national databanks around the country.
The SEWBIC entrepreneurial collection is combined with the assets of the Consolidated Information Center (CIC) at Washington State University Tri-Cities. Residents of Washington State may sign up to be a free "Non-Campus User" and enjoy the Max E. Benitz Memorial Library's on-site collection of over 718,000 books, periodical issues, and microfiche. To view entrepreneurial book titles available at WSU Tri-Cities go to Griffin and perform a search in your subject matter or Call 509.372.7303 for library information.
