The Junior Writing Portfolio at WSU Tri-Cities
Tri-Cities campus program administrator:
CIC Library 201AE
All undergraduates intending to earn their degree from WSU must complete the Junior Writing Portfolio once they complete 60 semester credits. This applies to all undergraduate students, including transfer, Honors, and branch campus students. Students who started college at an accredited institute prior to the fall of 1991 or students seeking a second bachelor's degree are exempt from this requirement.
Visit the Writing Portfolio website at writingportfolio.wsu.edu for official submission guidelines.
The writing portfolio consists of a Packet and a Timed Essay portion. You turn in the packet to Janice Smearman in CIC Library 201AE from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
The Packet consists of three samples of your writing that you have completed for three different college-level courses.
To complete the Packet, follow these steps:
- Purchase a Writing Portfolio envelope at the campus bookstore (approx. $1) or download the required forms below to submit with your own 10" x 13" envelope:
The Timed Essay
