Note 1: The sequence (Math 171, 172, 220 and 360 or 212) is an acceptable substitute for the sequence (Math 201, 202, 212, Math elective). Acceptable math electives include Math 364, 416, and Stat 412.

WSU

CBC equivalent

Option A: Math 171, 172, 220

Mth 231, 232, 233 , 243

Option B: Math 201, 202, 212

Mth 147, 210, 143

Note 2: Science Electives must include a year-long sequence (two semesters including a laboratory in each semester) and one additional science course with a laboratory. Acceptable science courses are those designated [P] or [B] with a lab designation (L) in WSU's GER system.

Note 3: Choice of Econ 101 or Econ 102 as the Tier 2 [S] course will maximize flexibility of changing to another major in the College.

Note 4: Elective credits must include a minor program. Completion of a minor is a graduation requirement. If a minor in a science or engineering discipline is contemplated, the science/engineering calculus courses should be taken instead of the listed math courses (see note 1).

Note 5: All listed Cpt S/EE courses and prerequisites to these courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.

Note 6: Advanced Cpt S courses must be chosen to contain advanced work in at least three separate computer science areas.

To find out the specific designation assigned by WSU to any CBC course look at the transfer equivalency web site: http://www.wsu.edu/advise/transfer-courses . See WSU Catalog for complete description of General Education Requirements.
