- There are many ways to finance your higher education goals. Studetns who are permanent legal residents or citizens can qualify for state or federal financial aid. In addition, MALDEF encourages all students, regardless of immigration status, to seek private scholarship for their educational expenses.
Students who live in states with in-state tuition laws (such as AB 540 in California) may qualify for resident rates when attending public colleges. Family savings and fundraising can also supplement educational costs.
