Scholarships for High School Students

NSA Stokes Educational Scholarship Program
  • Eligibility Criteria: This is a two year scholarship program for High School Seniors planning on majoring in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics. With this program, you will attend a college/university full time and then work during the summer at NSA for 12 weeks in areas that are related to your course of study. This scholarship program provides tuition to any college/university, reimbursement for books and certain fees, housing and travel entitlements during summer employment, year-round salary while attending college and continued employment with NSA after graduation (mandatory for at least one and a half times the length of study upon graduation). To apply you must first submit a résumé.
  • Deadline: Applications will be accepted between September 1st and November 30th of each year.
  • Application available: Online
  • Log into the website, click on Apply online and select  View Job Posting/Apply for Job, then under Student Programs select Stokes and click the Search button; you will then need to add Stokes Program to your Job Basket and click on Apply for Jobs in Basket; from here follow directions on screen.

College Success Foundation
  • They provide college scholarships and mentoring to low-income, high-potential High School students.

Gates Foundation
  • Thousands of low-income, minority students are highly motivated and ready for college every year. We’re working to help them get there through our scholarship programs. We’re also creating programs in lower performing schools designed to help low-income students get ready to enter—and then succeed in—college.
