Master of Education (Ed.M.) in Literacy
Admission Requirements
Please submit copies of all transcripts of previous college and university work; a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 The cumulative GPA is based on the last 60 semester credits (90 quarter credits) of undergraduate graded work, or on a minimum of 12 credits of graded graduate work; three current letters of recommendation; a written statement of personal educational goals and professional aspirations; a completed Ed.M. Information Form; a completed WSU Graduate School application.

Application Procedures
- Complete the Application for Admission to the Graduate School online at www.gradsch.wsu.edu. Specify your major as Education on the application form and indicate the type of degree you wish to pursue as Ed.M.
- Application fee $75
- Attach a personal statement.
- Order one set of official transcripts of all previously earned credits. (Official means that it is transmitted directly from one institution to another). Send the official transcripts directly to the Graduate School, Washington State University, PO Box 641030, Pullman, WA 99164-1030
- Provide the names and e-mail addresses for three individuals who have agreed to provide a letter of recommendation for you. (Upon submission of your application your references will be contacted automatically and their recommendations will be submitted directly to the Graduate School.)

- $50 application fee
- All official transcripts
- Submit three names and e-mail addresses of people that have agreed to write letters of recommendation.
(This will be done when applying to the Graduate School)
(Transcripts and Letters of Recommendation will be downloaded for the Department)
