English Language Learner (ELL) and Bilingual Education (BLE) endorsements
- Students must complete the following courses to earn an endorsement in ELL:
- T&L 501 Practicum in Bilingual/ESL (3)
- T&L 504 Advanced Study in Linguistics for Educators (3)
- T&L 509 Research in Curriculum & Assessment for Bilingual ESL Education (3)
- T&L 510 Theoretical Foundations for Bilingual Education (3)
- T&L 514 Methods and Materials for ESL Education (3)
- T&L 549 Communicating in a Multilingual Society (3)
- To earn an endorsement in BLE, students must take T&L 411: Bilingual Methods and Materials across Content Areas in addition to the courses required for the ELL endorsement.
