What is E-Advising?
Advising is the online version of academic advising, for Business, Engineering, Liberal Arts, and Science certified majors.
Who can use E-Advising?
E-Advising is for students who are familiar with reading their degree audit, know their remaining requirements, and have met with an advisor in-person at least once. If you have never been advised by your academic advisor, you must meet with her before using e-advising.
The Benefits of E-Advising
You can be advised when you want, where you want and in less time than having to schedule an appointment.
Steps to using E-Advising
- Check your Degree Audit.
- Look at the Schedule of Classes for the semester and find classes that would fill those requirements.
- Follow instructions from there
Your E-Advising submission does not constitute registration for classes. You are responsible for registering for classes via your myWSU account after receiving a reply from your advisor. Be aware that you may be asked by your advisor to schedule an appointment if necessary.
