The WSU Tri-Cities Digital Consortium

The Tri-Cities Digital Consortium is a collaboration between Washington State University Tri-Cities and local businesses that are invested in exploring new avenues for digital marketing, design, and interactivity. The Consortium involves its members in the exchange of research and ideas for marketing to a new-media audience. Our goal is to combine the resources and businesses in the Tri-Cities area with the cutting edge research developed by faculty and students in the Digital Technology and Culture Program at WSU. We pair businesses in the area with companies that are the most qualified to fulfill their digital marketing and design needs. Student interns from the Digital Technology and Culture Program work closely with these companies to help produce the best results for each business involved.

Members are invited to participate in a lecture series that will highlight the latest advances in interactive technologies and marketing approaches for the digital age. These lectures will be hosted by WSU Tri-Cities and will be led by WSU faculty, students, and local practitioners who can offer hands-on perspectives to the application of digital design.

The Tri-Cities offers many resources for businesses working with digital media and companies looking to implement digital design and theory to their marketing strategy. The Tri-Cities Digital Consortium functions under the single premise that out of collaboration, amazing ideas are conceived and fulfilled.

If you would like your business to be involved in the Consortium, please contact Doug Gast at dgast@tricity.wsu.edu.
