Diversity Plan Committee
In Spring 2008, the Chancellor initiated a review and renewal of the
Washington State University Tri-Cities' Diversity Plan. This process is
being guided by a Diversity Plan committee. Its membership is drawn from
faculty, students, and staff of WSU Tri-Cities and from members of the
community.

The committee's charge includes:
- Providing guidance for the recruitment and retention of a diverse
faculty, staff, and student body. - Providing recommendations for the development of a nurturing and safe
environment. - Developing goals and strategies to create a culture in which diversity
is valued. - Identifying and advocating for policies and services in support of
issues related to diversity. - Providing progress reports to the Chancellor.
