Account
Wireless access is available throughout the WSU Tri-Cities campus.
In order to obtain wireless authorization, please contact the help desk (tchelp@tricity.wsu.edu,
372-7334), and have available the following information:
1. The MAC address of your wireless device (this is also known
as the ethernet address, and will be of the form dd:dd:dd:dd:dd:dd, where
dd is a hexadecimal number).
2. Your WSU ID number.
Devices must have either a current working copy of a major vendor's
anti-virus software installed, or will have such software installed by the Computer
Center. Current students may download Symantec Anti-Virus Software free of charge from
here.
All devices MUST be scanned by the Computer Center before a wireless
authorization is issued. Once your information is provided to the help desk,
an appointment will be set up for scanning your wireless device.
