To setup the WSUTC VPN for Windows XP:

1. Go to the Control Panel and open network connections. 
   
2. Click on "Create a New Connection" on the left column. 
   
3. 
4. Select the "Connect to the network at my workplace" option. 
   
5. Select Virtual Private Network connection. 
   
6. Choose a name for the network connection. 
   
7. Enter lotus.tricity.wsu.edu for the hostname. 
   
8. If you recieve a message about using a smart card select "Do not use my smart card".
9. Select whether you want the connection to be available for your use only or all users on the computer.
10. Finally select Finish, and check the box to add a shortcut if desired.
    
11. To connect, enter your WSUTC computer account and password, and choose Connect. You will need to be a member of the appropriate group, so if you have any trouble call IT at extension 27334.
