Work-Study is a federally funded program of employment where students earn money for school

Since money is earned, it does not have to be repaid.
There is no annual maximum payment for work-study.
WSU-TC disburses funds earned at WSU Tri-Cities to students.
Not all schools participate in all campus-based programs. Ask the Career Services Manager about which ones are available to students who qualify.
Students may often design their own work-study position.
Many employers can qualify for the work-study program.

Qualifications for Work-Study Financial Aid

To qualify for any type of aid, including grants, work-study, or loans, a student must:

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Be enrolled in a minimum of 6 undergraduate or 5 graduate credits.
Be seeking a degree.
Some aid is based on financial need, some is not. Scholarships are based on a variety of criteria. The priority deadline is March 1 to apply for the following fall term.
