Cougar Success Mentor Program

Washington State University Tri-Cities is offering the first year students a mentoring relationship to improve the opportunity for success in their academic and professional careers. The mentors are selected from alumni, faculty, staff and the community.

Mentors are not career counselors or required to be personal advisors to students. The students will meet with their mentors to gain advice and guidance on academic success, careers, and professional competencies.

Mentors share information about their own academic journey and how it impacted their career choice, and provide insight into their profession. This could include, but not limited to, individual Q&A, job shadowing or networking with professional organization.
