Science Mentoring Program
The Science Mentoring Program supports the continued success of science students at Washington State University Tri-Cities. It enhances students’ academic and career skills, provides connections to professionals from across the region, and enriches strategies for post-graduation success.
How does the program work?
Our mentors will meet with students periodically throughout the semester, both individually and in group activities. Mentors will advise mentees and answer questions pertaining to the following:
- Life at WSU Tri-Cities.
- How to get academic assistance.
- How to access resources available to all students on campus.
- Help students connect with other fellow science students.
- Provide suggestions and tips on how to develop critical thinking skills which will enable them to solve problems.
