Ethics Training sessions today
Adam Malcolm, Assistant Attorney General at WSU, will be here on campus May 12th & 13th to provide Washington State Ethics in Public Service Training to staff. Adam will conduct 3 sessions, approximately 1 hour long; an afternoon session on May 12th and two morning sessions on May 13th.
Responsibility for ethical compliance rests with the individual state employee or the supervisor who authorizes employee action or inaction. Therefore, as a state employee or officer, you need to be familiar with the principles of the State Ethics Law.
I will be working with Training & Development this week to set these session up on the HRS website for staff and faculty to enroll. In addition these sessions will be added to the campus calendar, all campus news with posters and notecards distributed to each department.
