Art exhibit opening: Life Interpreted, 6 p.m., CIC Art Center

A select group of WSU Tri-Cities graduates, local graphic designers, and artists are part of "Life Interpreted," a unique take on the art form known as "still life." Using common objects, the artists stretched the boundaries to created their own versions of a still life.

The opening reception is from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, in the CIC Art Center, 2770 Crimson Way, Richland. The exhibit is on display through Sept. 30. The Art Center's regular hours are 12 to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Admission is free.
