American Lit finalist, meet&greet, 9 a.m., West 207-R

Our second candidate, Alison Graham-Bertolini, will be here Thursday afternoon and Friday morning before going to Pullman.

She will be available to meet with faculty, students and others from 9-10 Friday morning (my office).

Her research talk, “Great Vengeance and Furious Anger: The Female Avenger in Zora Neale Hurston’s ‘Sweat,’” will also be presented in Pullman at 2:00 and delivered via AMS to TC and Vancouver (room to be announced).

Thanks in advance for your efforts to meet the candidates, learn about their work, and also in helping them understand what an outstanding place our campus and this university are to work.
