Boots to Books: The Academic Transition and Experience, 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, West Building Atrium. Panelists of veterans representing staff, students, and community members will share their experiences on the transition from the military to civilian and student life.

The Veterans & Allies student organization is sponsoring this event as part of Veterans Awareness Week. It is intended to educate faculty, staff, and fellow students on ways to support student veterans. Such activities contribute to WSU Tri-Cities’ designation by the Washington state Department of Veterans Affairs as a Veteran Supportive Campus and by G.I. Jobs magazine as a Military-Friendly School.
