Nursing Convocation, 7 p.m., Kennewick
Tri-Cities graduates of the Washington State University College of Nursing will be recognized at Convocation, a special pinning and candlelight ceremony, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at City Church, 4624 W. 10th Ave., Kennewick.
Convocation is a thoughtful occasion where faculty, staff, medical professionals, and students’ family members celebrate the hard work and special relationships of the Fall 2012 graduating class.
This group of graduates includes 18 earning the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, three completing the Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) degree, and three earning the Master of Nursing degree.
The ceremony’s speakers include WSU Tri-Cities interim Chancellor James R. Pratt, nursing instructors, and graduating students. Convocation is sponsored by Kadlec Regional Medical Center. The ceremony is open to the public.
WSU Tri-Cities is located along the scenic Columbia River in Richland, Wash.
