The Richland Section of the American Chemical Society is holding a Career Fair for people interested in careers related to Chemistry from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Columbia Basin College in the Hawk Union Building's Gjerde Atrium, 2600 N. 20th Ave., Pasco. Admission is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Technical professionals, teachers, and researchers from academics, industries, and research labs will be available to talk about job opportunities and career paths. Learn about future workforce and job qualifications, and get career ideas and advice.

WSU Tri-Cities will be represented by Dr. Vince Hebert with the Food & Environmental Quality Laboratory, and Dr. Danny Mitchell, clinical assistant professor in the School of Molecular and Biological Sciences.
