WSU Tri-Cities Minor in Business Administration (BA)
With a General Business Administration Focus For NON-BUSINESS MAJORS

The College of Business minor in Business Administration is an official designation, which appears on your transcript and gives you the ability to differentiate yourself from other students. The Business Administration minor with a General Business focus is for those who want to prepare themselves for entry-level, general management positions in both private and public sector organizations. The business world can never have too many good managers, and a minor in Business Administration will help you prepare to enter the work force.

REQUIRED COURSEWORK FOR A MINOR IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

  • Acctg 230, Introduction to Financial Accounting
  • Plus Five (5) College of Business courses

The College of business recommends the courses listed below to focus in general business administration             

    • Up to three of the following:
      • Acctg 231, Introduction to Managerial Accounting                        
      • BLaw 210, Law and the Legal Environment of Business
      • MgtOp 215, Business Statistics
      • MIS 250, Managing Information Systems
    • At least three of the following
      • MgtOp 301, Principles of Management and Organization
      • Fin 325, Introduction to Financial Management
      • MgtOp 340, Operations Management
      • Mktg 360, Marketing
      • I Bus/MgtOp 453, International Management
