Final grade distribution:  84-100% A, 80-83% A-, 74-79% B+, below 74% B

First proposal draft due Nov 23 5pm

For Nov 10 class:  I will lecture on chapter 15

We will be finishing the chapter 8 question, and then tackling the questions from chapters 9-10 on Oct 13

Per your request, our class time has been moved up:  12:55-3:10

You should be digging into the literature for your proposal.  The best places to look initially:  Journal of Operations Management (devoted entirely to empirical research), Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management,  and  Management Science.  Peruse the most recent issues for empirical theory building articles, and go from there.  A suitable problem statement should emerge from this.
