Washington State University, Tri Cities
Child Care Reimbursement Program
Child Care Reimbursement Program through WSU Tri-Cities
This program is separate from turning in form D2 and 36 for financial aid. Forms D2 and 36 can be found on the financial aid forms webpage. These forms increase your school budget (amount you are allowed to be awarded) and financial aid will award additional funding if available.
The CCRP through WSU Tri-Cities reimburses students up to $200.00 for the first child and $75.00 for the second child. The student must be enrolled in at least six (6) WSU Tri-Cities campus credits (not DDP) and be using a state licensed day care provider. The child must live with the student applying for the program.
To apply:
Each semester you would like coverage please go to Room West 269B for an application (at the bottom of the page you will see a link to download the application). You have until the end of the first month of classes to turn in the packet to be considered. We do have a maximum number of students we can accept each term based on the amount of funds approved through ASWSU-TC. Late applications will not be accepted (if you have extenuating circumstances please contact Mary Bauer). This program is first come first serve as well as need based. Turn in your application as soon as you can. Fall Semester reimburses for September, October, November and December. Spring Semester reimburses for January, February, March, and April. You have to apply for each semester you want to be in the program, acceptance one semester does not guarantee future acceptance.
Once accepted into the program, you will need to turn in a Verification form each month by the 10th of the following month. Example, for September's reimbursement you must turn in the Verification form by October 10th. Late verification forms will mean you are ineligible for reimbursement that month.
(The verification forms will be mailed to you upon acceptance in the program, they are not available online)
