Dr. Vicky L. Carwein provides overall leadership for WSU Tri-Cities, represents the campus within the University system, and serves as a liaision with local communities, organizations, and industries.
This is an exciting time to be at WSU Tri-Cities. We are experiencing record enrollment growth and the campus community is thrilled to be serving more students than ever before. Because of the expanding student population, we are able to provide more services and activities and we continue to look for ways to make this campus feel like a home away from home.
Dr. Vicky L. Carwein, Chancellor
To continue providing the quality education for which we are known, we are conducting an unprecedented number of searches for new faculty, including several for leadership positions. We are in the process of expanding our viticulture and enology program and are the headquarters for the director of WSU’s statewide program. The Bioproducts, Sciences, and Engineering Laboratory (BSEL) is open, giving students even more opportunities to conduct cutting-edge research in a state-of-the-art facility with world-renowned faculty.
The tremendous growth and success of WSU Tri-Cities is a testament to the quality of our students, faculty and staff — as well as the continued commitment and active support of this community. We look forward to helping students achieve their educational goals.
Best wishes!
