The Art Center at WSU Tri-Cities is hosting the January Salon and an exhibition: Artists of the 509.

Any artist living in the 509 area code is eligible. To participate, artists should bring a few works of art to The Art Center on January 12 between noon and 3 p.m.

The exhibition will be on view Jan. 13-28. A reception and salon will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21.

Artists can retrieve their work Jan. 31 between noon and 3 p.m.

At the reception we will discuss the formation of a regional arts commission and preview the new 509Art Website, created by intern Derek Nelson.

Chancellor's Exhibition Series opening reception with the artists, 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, East Building administration hallway. Free and open to the public. The exhibit is on display through May 27.

February 2 - March 3, 2011

Opening reception 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 1.

March 7 - April 1, 2011

"Shelter Cats: Larger than Life" photography exhibit opens with a reception at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, in the Consolidated Information Center Art Center (Room 102). The artist is Michael Kloth, professional photographer and an adjunct faculty member in fine arts.

The exhibit runs March 7 through April 1.
